April

So I got my friend and associate from Houston, alberto, to redo my web page. The end of march was easter, so I spent it with the fam. The 1st weekend of april, freestate had 4 shows in 4 days. I didn’t go to Houston or Laredo because of school, but I did go to there 2 shows in corpus and Kingsville. The Kingsville show was the night of traci’s birthday. She finally turned 21. I decided to take her to Austin the next weekend for her birthday to party on 6th street. I was also able to score some back stage passes to see Stone Temple Pilots and Cake in Austin at Auditorium Shores. Traci said it was the best concert she had ever been to. We where like 5 feet away from scott weiland. My friend cris frias flew down from Houston and went to the concert with us and his girlfriend luisa. Krishelle, who was also in town for the weekend, stayed at four seasons, and worked out with some who looked like they where in a band but couldn’t place him. Just him and her in the workout room for an hour. It was scott weiland. Later that night we met up with krishelle and friends on 6th st. The next day, krishelle and her boyfriend Andrew (who was in from London for the week), traci and her friend adrie, me, larry, alex, danessa, jared, and frank and hanna (who came from Houston) met up at the salt lick for our annual drinking and bar-b-que excursion. The rest of that day I spent at pool of four seasons with krishelle. That night we again went to 6th st and had a really great time. The rest of the month was either a bore a blur, but it must have went by fast, cause I don’t remember much of it. Freestate and victima had a show at zeros on the 20th. And on the 26th, I had a show at zeros with softy and after the fall. It was a pretty good turn out, but I expected more. Then it was off to May.

May

Busy month as always. I was consumed with finals the 1st week and a half and didn’t really do anything else. After finals we had a double show booked on may 10th. I handled the show at zeros, and freestate and victima played a show at boxers. Later that week, my associates in I had a meeting about the future of our business. We recently purchased $2000 of equipment added on to the $5000 we already have. Since we are now up to date on technology, we have decided to open up a recording studio located in corpus. We are currently looking at several buildings downtown that we might be able to renovate. On the 17th, we had a kick ass show at zeros. It was freestate, victima, enkindle crown from Austin, and wolftekit from Laredo. The after party was just as fun as the show. The next day we all played in Kingsville except victima, and on Sunday, everyone went to the beach for the day. The 22nd we went to boxers for the b of the b, and the 23rd I went downtown. On the 24th I had an all ages show. It went really well and the bar made more money than usual which is real weird. On the 25th Robert from victima had a bar-b-que at his house, and I went downtown afterwards. On the 26th I went downtown for a show at mulligans. Had an equal eyez meeting on the 27th, and I think we are going to sign a lease on this property. That sums everything up.
