May
May 31st-June 10th
At the end of May (31st) traci and I had our benefit show for the Coastal Bend Aids Foundation that we had started to put together about 6 months ago. It was a huge success and we raised over $500 for the foundation. The next day, traci, saul, angie, and I took off to Houston for a show. We left early so we could hang out. The 1st thing we did was go to ikea since I knew it opened like at 10. I bought this cool lamp and some other stuff. After that we went to 59 diner which is one of my favorite places to go to in Houston. Everyone else had a weird experience (ask them). We spent the rest of the afternoon at the galleria. We had a show that night at fitzgeralds with victima. The next day rene stayed behind to hang with us. We went to the California pizza kitchen there and then spent the whole afternoon at the Houston zoo. If you like zoos, this one is pretty cool, and only cost $2.50 to get in. anyway on june 6th rene and I went around to look at more property. He wanted a slice of pizza and some beer so we stopped at the mall. While we where sitting there, we saw Danzig walk by who had a show that night in corpus. We saw them again at sam goody in the mall, and I went in to talk to them. They said so far there tour was going good. Anyway, on the 7th we had a show at zeros, and I actually got to sing a song on stage. It was pretty fun. The next day was c-sculptures. Traci and I where on the guest list of trust company. I talked to band for a band, and they remembered playing with freestate in the fall at the white rabbit in SA. They actually opened for freestate, and not they have a video rotating on mtv. I also talked to static-x. (I have a few pics I am going to put up). Later that night I went to boxers after that Tyson fight, and ran into adema. I talked to the band (mostly the bass player) for a little bit. They also played at the beach earlier that day, but where on stage when I was talking to the other bands. I gave them my card, and talked about bringing them down here. Anyway… that’s it for now.
